In the beginning of 2020, Pantone family brought forward one from the blues. It’s a sheer delight for individuals like me who like the blue clan, to know it was classic blue, honestly I'm not mad about it at all.
Pantone chose Classic Blue as its knight in shinning armor for 2020. I feel that nothing else says more about this year than reason and meaning behind the choice of this color, “ it anticipates whats going to happen next” says the Vice President of Pantone color institute , Laurie Pressman.
Pantone is known to bring out colors that take over the market and industries by storm as most of the packaging and renovations of brands include Pantone's colors as the essence of shades and tones.
Following the footsteps of its elder brother “Living Coral” , Classic Blue has emerged as a beautiful blend of class, anticipation and royalty.
According to me, colors like these bring out the best out of a space from an Interior Designer’s Perspective. The color of the year 2020 is setting many mindful examples for industries like those of graphic design and fashion.
This color is a mixture of calm yet contemplation. It walks with both serenity of the sky and the sea meeting and the anticipation of the future hand in hand.
It represents our feelings more than we could. All in all, this color is indeed CLASSIC Blue and we love it.
So I am currently in the middle of renovating my home office and now I'm actually thinking of adding this color as my base theme. I was already going for a blue theme but that was more of a sky blue kind of vibe but now I'm under some serious decision making.
